This is the boy I had been waiting for. The only problem with him was that he was on the other side of the country, but he was just too good to pass up -- all of the parts were there. Thus, arrangements were made, and 'Bota came East. How awesome is 'Bota? Well, let's start with his lineage, since that was what really hooked me. His sire, Altair's Vito, is a multiple-champion and proven champion producer. Even more impressive than that is the fact that one of these championships was for flee ...

Beyond excited is an understatement with this male. He comes from a long line of top notch, winning appaloosa genetics and he does not disappoint!
His sire is none other than phenomenal Que Sera's Kubota who is currently restricted for breeding. Kubota is the offspring of several champions and is a decent of the Peruvian Platinum appaloosa line.
His dam KQA Ginger Rose is more subtle on her spots, but comes from a pinto (possible appaloosa/harlequin genes?) line. She herself has produced several appaloosa and harlequin crias, including the wonderful Ham n' Cheese.
One of the special things about Ham n' Cheese is his spots are so many different colors. Each of those spots contains brightness and his fleece bundles nicely with high frequency, in your face crimp. He has a lovely full head and good coverage, something both parents passed to him. We absolutely cannot wait to see what he will produce with such strong quality traits.
